Ibuprofen and Pregnancy Pulmonary Hypertension — HELP!?
Believe it or not, I honestly did not know I was pregnant until I was 35 weeks along. I have some health problems, and take ibuprofen regularly. I am now 36 weeks pregnant, and my doctor said my baby may have Pulmonary Hypertension when he is born due to my ibuprofen use. There is no way to detect it until he is born. I have completely stopped the use of ibuprofen, and I am worried sick about whether or not my baby will be born with this. Can anybody give me any information on this? I am so scared. I just want him to be healthy. What do you think the odds are that he will have Pulmonary hypertension?

I do not know what are the chances, but I have some advice for Sie.Ich recommend that your child in a center that can handle a child with persistent pulmonary hypertension, so if he does not delay treatment. That means a major teaching hospital with the highest level neonatal intensive care are available. Obstetrician change can mean you do not have the privileges of Anlage.Sie should also consult with your Department of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM). You can recommend the best time of delivery, you give your child the best chance of survival. Neonatologists in the system should also be aware of the possibility of your baby with this problem for the child to be tested immediately after birth. You do not want to wait until things get ugly before beginnt.Ich hoped the treatment, all the preparation so much for nothing and that your baby is very good. Good luck!
