With ample cardiac and pulmonary file of its son, m? Chte calls to its paediatrician this morning had only received a test of RSV and to obtain that generally ausgecheckt.RSV pr? One appears like a normal Erk? Ltung, and f R? many children who are simply a Erk? ltung. Some babies terribly react to the VSR and especially the P. Hchen? And children cardiac.
when my daughter cough RSV very badly and was very rough. It seemed that she could not breathe. I am a great preoccupation wart that when it is my children, took reason why it in that same day in which it began, and had that it. I suggest to him takes its daughter in the right. when one is the children never is possible to be too safe. and everything what already threw to the ground and its daughter no possibility exists. they talk about them and says that he wants to prove it. I hope that everything works. and her daughter puts itself better. that she already sounds like a small K? combatants. The RSV approaches now as they acquire the FR? The capture, the best one! Much ck Gl? I hope that no.
I had my son at 27 weeks, and i know what it’s like being in nicu dreading to come in and hear what you dont want to. My son had a hole in his heart and chronic lung disease, and a bleed on the brain but after 14 weeks finally came home, and im like you, it leaves a scar in your mind and you can’t help but be worried.
I called an ambulance once as my son was screaming ocnstantly and it turned out to be nothing more than toothache.
You may be worrying about nothing, but if you’re really worried you should get a 2nd opinion, because if you’re stressing yourself out your daughter may pick up on your agitation etc.
My son sounds terrible when he gets just a cough–he wheezes terribly etc and i start fretting he’s got a life-threatening illness lol but i found out babies cannot move their phlegm or cough like we do very well, so they either cough alot or eventually sick the phlegm up (ew, its disgusting when that happens!) Its scary when you’re a mum to a child thats been in Nicu, and you never forget it, but remember, babies that have been in Nicu are little fighters! My doc recomended placing a kettle in a small room, bioling it with the lid off so that the steam fills the room and then sitting in there with your baby for a while. “Steaming the baby” he called it. . . lol should apparently help them. . . but my son refused to sit still so i cant tell you if it works haha.
But if you’re really worried, just go and get a 2nd opinion. But try not to worry.
unfortunately there is no real way to tell if its a cold or RSV without having a sputum sample assessed by pathology, but heres the good news. . .
My baby was born at 24 weeks gestation, and I have known many other like her, RSV is common, and all of our babies have caught it (despite our best efforts to prevent it) many of the babies that I know (including mine) had severe chronic lung disease and came home on oxygen. Its scary to think of your babies risks of complications due to RSV, but the most likely scenario is that she will shake it off in a couple of days, and be none the wiser.
make sure you keep in regular contact with your pediatrician and keep and eye out for changes, particularly signs of difficulty breathing (chest draws in during breaths, baby goes blue around the lips or fingernails, baby is lethargic/floppy or not feeding).
be vigilant, but try to relax. . . she is tough to have come this far. . and she will beat this bug!
take care
I’m thinking you should take her to the pediatrician JUST to be safe. My son has a VSD, and they gave him the synagis shot which helps to lessen the severity of RSV, should he get it. And with your daughter having her heart conditions she should qualify for it, you may want to ask about it. . .
