I run 1. 5 miles in about 15 minutes. I have asthma, hypertension (no cause) and bad knees. How can I improve?

I have volunteered for the national guard and I work at a marina and as an instructor for children’s gymnastics – but I’m still not healthy. Is all of this due to eating habits? When I’m at college, I actually eat healthier. after three rounds of tests, my hypertension has no underlying cause. I don’t even have a family history. I have dislocated my knee three times doing basic activities such as turning corners and jogging – I wear a brace, but I still get nervous. I go to the gym twice a week for about 1-2 hours and switch off between weight lifting, using machine and jogging around the track. When I diet and exercise, I tend to gain weight. at 5 ft, 3 in I weigh too much, I need to lose at least 20 lb. How can I do this without doing further danger to my knees?
