What causes heated body temps, seizures, completely stops breathing????

Well I recently got custody of my niece and nephews from child and fam. services b/c their mom refuses to clean herself up! (drugs) Anyway, she has this thing where she gives all of her kids beer and liquer and things like that! Well long story short I have them now and once when they lived with her she got her 2yr old girl drunk and later that night she had a seizure. Well since they (2boys-1Girl) have been with me she has had 2 seizures and it always starts with her body getting really hot, then she stops breathing, and then she shakes and drools!!!
She has been 2 the hospital each time and each visit the doctors didn’t know anything, they just gave an RX for Tylenol and IBprophen for her 2 take every 6 hrs!! Can someone PLEASE help???
Thank you all for your input on my situation. . . . it’s more than what the doctors gave me so again thanks for your time and info! ;-)

Maybe it’s epilepsy. . . Look in the p? Web page!

    5. Febrile seizures occur in children 5 and younger and they generally outgrow them. Consult with her pediatrician as to why her temperature elevates. It may be related to her previous environment. There may be nothing to be done except treat the fever until she outgrows this. If it makes you feel any better, febrile seizures are rarely harmful. In the meantime, monitor her temperature on a regular basis and intervene when needed to prevent another seizure.

Hi, I have epilipsy so I understand why your worried about the child. . . the best thing i can say do is contact a neurolgists and get some blood work and see if you can get an eeg done on the child that shows function of the brain. . . but still I believe the child needs to be taking some sort of seizure medication! Hope you get everything worked out. . good luck
