yes, by valsalva maneuver.
What medications do you take for your asthma? Sometimes inhalers or updraft treatments can make your heart beat faster, as well as asthma itself!
How tachycardic are you? (What does your heart rate usually run??)
People with severe asthma cannot tolerate beta blockers because it can cause bronchospasm, but people with mild asthma can take a beta blocker without difficulty.
There are other medicines that can slow your heart rate such as calcium channel blockers.
Otherwise there isn’t much you can do to keep your heart rate slower. . . execise (over time) can improve conditioning which will gradually lower your heart rate. Decreasing caffiene intake or quitting caffiene all together can decrease your heart rate. Avoiding some decongestants can help. Keeping your asthma well controlled can help.
Hope this helps some.

Firstly all asthma medication cause various degrees of tachycardia. Secondly I presume that, by tachycardia, you mean PSVT. In that case treating it without medication can be to. . . . . .
1) Perform a Carotid sinus massage. The person should lay on the bed with his or her head hyperextended to maximizes access to the carotid impulse. The performer should locate the carotid pulse usually located below the angle of the mandible. Apply a pulsatile or steady pressure to the area where the carotid pulsation are felt holding at least for 5 to 10 seconds. If heart rate does not fall repeat procedure on the opposite side. THIS SHOULD BE DONE ONLY AFTER YOU GOT TRAINED BY DOCTOR/PARAMEDICS. OR. . . . . . .
2) Activate the Diving reflex. The easiest way of doing it is to throw a glass of cold water right in to your face. OR. . . . .
3) Do the forceful expiration against a closed mouth and pinched nose, like you strain on the toilet seat to overcome constipation.
Though you can try (2) and (3) on your own, ask your doctor and learn the processes from an expert. Good luck.
