I have mild tachycardia (rapid heart rate) and everyone keeps telling me that that its just normal and that there is nothing to worry about. All my tests have come back fine: Blood tests, EKG, Echocardiogram. Is it possible to have Tachycardia without any underlying cause? Can your heart rate just naturally beat at a more rapid pace?

Probably. A friend of a friend of mine has a resting heart rate around 95bpm. And this kid runs marathons. He’s essentially in perfect shape, eats a great diet, no problems. He’s been to a bunch of doctors and cardiologists, and so far they haven’t found a single thing wrong. Other than his heart rate, there’s nothing out of the ordinary. Never had any problems.
I can’t provide a source to prove it, but I can’t see why that couldn’t be OK. Remember, ‘normal’ is just the centre of a bell curve; statistically, the healthy average person. Stands to reason that some people will be just fine at the outer edges.
